May ends tomorrow and how boring is my wandering. I haven't even gone up to LanePoole Reserve and I promised myself that I would do that before the last school holidays started and they have been and gone weeks ago. Why I haven't I'm not sure. Probably because I don't have anyone to go with and I'm still too much of a SookyLaLa to go myself. I want that to change and am working on a plan so hopefully soon I will have proper adventures to write about.
I quite often now see or hear about women travelling by themselves and think how brave they are and how wonderful that would be...then I come home and forget about them and lose my excitment so I have started a list of where I might go for practice adventures but I need to woman up and go on a real one.
In the meantime I have invited myself to be a tagalong on a fishing trip. There will be fishing and drinking and as I do neither I am planning on exploring by myself...If I don't sook out and if I can safely drive the car they are taking. It should be fun but if nothing else it will give me something to blog about so stay tuned...you know you want to.
Good on you - you've got to start somewhere, and the fishing trip sounds like a good start. In our travels there's lots of coaster buses out there with single women travellers. Many of them say they've found great friends on the road and are never lonely because there's always someone who wants to chat. Look forward to your new adventures!!!
